
TACO SALAD
Meat Ingredients
3 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup white onion (chopped)
2 jalapeño (chopped)
3 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tbsp kosher salt (or to desired taste
1/2 cup beef broth
3 tbsp tomato paste
Topping Ingredients
4 Roma tomatoes (chopped)
32 oz sour cream
1 bag of 8 oz kraft Mexican cheese
1 jalapeño (chopped)
Instructions
cook ground beef and drain
in a separate small bowl add all of the seasonings (except kosher salt) and stir.
add a small bowl of seasoning to beef.
add broth
add tomato paste and reduce heat.
gradually add kosher salt until the desired taste.
add jalapeños and onions. Cover for 10 min.
in a large bowl mix sour cream for 3 min with a hand mixer.
add finished meat to 9x13 casserole pan
top with mixed sour cream.
spread one full bag of Mexican cheese on top of sour cream.
add tomatoes
spread the remaining jalapeños.
